Historically rich, our trek follows trails from WW1, an area known as Hemingway country. This is Farewell to Arms country, an area of fierec fighting but now a peaceful and tranquil place with Lake Bohinj at it's feet. Bordering the coast and mountain areas this is the perfect introduction to ridge walking, trekking in the Triglav National Park while the Julian Alps offer the most perfect backdrop along the way as Lake Bohinj lies below.
